Only carrots, lemon juice, coriander leaves, green chilies or round peppercorns can be used. If you want to stay healthy during carrot diet, drink at least 3 liters of water daily.It is highly recommended to consume water and sugar free tea.If you want to drink tea, make a cup of green tea. Green tea is helpful in getting rid of weight. But, you are not allowed to consume salt or oil during this diet.

Carrots are low in calories and a good source of vitamins. They are rich in antioxidants and contain chlorine and sulfur that help the liver remove toxins. Besides, they also contain calcium and can even protect against lung cancer.

Things to keep in mind

  1.      Make this diet for 4 days or 5 days for too much. This diet can be allowed once a month.
  2.      Do not do gym or extra physical work during diet.

Though carrots are excellent for adding them to any diet, consuming to many carrots can have side effects. Having large amounts of carrots leaves the skin abnormally yellow to orange in color.This discoloration is caused by beta carotene, a carotenoid content in carrots. Besides, taking large amount of carrots is not a good option for diabetic people because of their high sugar content with a glycaemic.
